Conference Volunteers
Call for Conference Volunteers, October 24-26, 2011
OVERVIEW
The National Immigrant Integration Conference 2011 (NIIC 2011) will be held at the Westin Hotel in Seattle, Washington, October 24-26, 2011. 600 attendees from across the country will gather to hear from experts in the field of immigrant integration. NIIC 2011 is hosted by OneAmerica, Washington state’s leading immigrant advocacy organization.
VOLUNTEERING
Behind the scenes, it takes hundreds of volunteers to keep NIIC 2011 running. As a volunteer, you can:
- Earn community service hours, class credit and service-learning experience.
- Network with other volunteers and conference attendees.
- Attend conference sessions free of charge on days you are volunteering if you commit to a minimum of 4 volunteer shifts or 15 hours, including 3 shifts during the conference itself (this does not include conference meals, volunteers should plan to bring a lunch or use the lunch voucher provided).
