About the National Immigrant Integration Conference
For the third year in a row, the 2012 conference will be the signature event for the National Partnership for New Americans, a partnership of twelve immigrant rights coalitions from across the country.

The National Immigrant Integration Conference 2012 will engage experts and organizations in the immigrant and refugee policy, advocacy, government, research and social service arena to discuss innovative and effective ways to expand and improve integration for immigrants and refugees on a local and national level.
Goals
NIIC 2012 provides a platform for national organizations and experts to come together to address and discuss best practices and the future direction of immigrant integration.
Specifically, the goals of the conference are to:
- Increase and deepen our understanding of different components of immigrant integration.
- Highlight promising practices, discuss key challenges and future directions, and provide opportunities for capacity building and training.
- Widen the field and bring in new allies and partners including local government, host communities, and a wider diversity of immigrant populations.
The conference is structured to provide a space for people at all different levels of experience to hear from experts in the field of immigrant integration, share best practices and promising developments, and put forward their best thinking around key topic areas and challenges.
