NIIC 2015 REGISTRATION IS CLOSED! Join Us December 13-15!

We are so thrilled that 1,400 people joined us for NIIC 2015! Below is background information on NIIC registration, but please note that NIIC registration is closed. The last day for refund and cancellation requests is December 30, 2015. Due to holiday closures, all such requests will be addressed in January 2016.

ABOUT REGISTRATION

SCHOLARSHIPS: NIIC 2015 strives to enable as many and as diverse a range of participants to attend. Limited scholarships will be available, and our application period is now closed; we regret that we will no longer be accepting scholarship requests. Scholarship awardees will be notified in the first week of November.

GROUPS: Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more individuals registering for NIIC from the same organization. Online registration with a credit card is strongly recommended, however payment by check is also possible. To pay by check, please use this form. SOLD OUT: NIIC’s Discounted Hotel Rates Are Now Sold Out

We will have a full house at NIIC 2015! The limited discounted hotel room block for NIIC and most general guest rooms at the Marriott during NIIC – particularly Dec 12-14 — are now SOLD OUT!.

All bookings with the Marriott – including  payments, cancellations or refunds are managed directly with the Marriott and not NIIC.

Some other hotels located near by – and in most cases within walking distance to NIIC – are the following. There are other hotels also in Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan within easy commute distance that you might wish to consider as well:

NIIC is not able to assist with individual hotel bookings or provide home-stay housing in NYC. If you have not yet made your travel arrangements, we urge you to do so right away!

AIRPORTS

The NYC metro area is home to three major airports – John F. Kennedy International Airport (Queens, NY), LaGuardia Airport (Queens, NY) and Newark Liberty International Airport (Newark, NJ). All three airports are accessible by public transportation, taxi/car service and airport shuttle services, and all have extensive car rental services on site. TRAINS

NYC’s public transportation system is among the largest in the world with commuter rail lines from Long Island, upstate New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, and regional/national train service through Amtrak. The Long Island Rail Road services the Atlantic Avenue terminal in Brooklyn (closest to NIIC 2015 venue) and Penn Station in midtown Manhattan. New Jersey Transit services Penn Station. MetroNorth Railroad services Grand Central Station (midtown Manhattan).
