NIIC 2014 is the largest gathering of immigrants, advocates, policymakers, and funders in the immigration field since the President’s monumental executive action to provide relief to five million people. We’ve designed content-rich, practical sessions aimed at organizations and institutions that will be at the forefront of administrative relief implementation.

10:15 am - 11:30 am

Assessing Service Delivery Models

(Location: 406A)

This session will help organizations consider various models for service delivery and determine which model they will pursue considering their organizational capacity. This should be the first stop for organizations beginning to think about Administrative Relief implementation.

Implementing the Community Navigator Model

Insights from Implementing DACA for Administrative Relief

The implementation of DACA offers lessons on outreach, recruitment, service provision and collaboration that are important for upcoming administrative relief. Although there is more lead time to organize and prepare, the population eligible for AR is markedly different from those eligible for DACA. Strategies for removing barriers and supporting this population will be discussed.
